Note
Robertson family oral tradition says that James sister, Martha "Patsy? Robertson, mother of Thomas H. Mobertly, died at home of cholera and her husband William was ill and unable to work and provide for his family. James may have removed to Shelby Co, Indiana, USA to avoid the plague and took Thomas with him. James was also executor of his brother Alexander when he passed in 1834 and may have helped take care of his children too.
Note
John Ford is NOT a child of James Robertson. James did not have children by Susan. Permelia was the child of James and Nancy. There are two MORE children of James and Nancy for a total of seven. Make corrections then I will add their names. Thank you
