She was born near Ireland, April 14, 1893, the daughter of Warren and Carrie Bee Armstrong. She married Edgar Kearby October 17, 1915, and he preceded her in death July 10, 1978. She was a lifelong member of Shiloah Methodist Church in Ireland. Surviving are two granddaughters; five great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. A son, Harley Kearby, and grandson, Butch Kearby, and a great-granddaughter, Shona Pancake, a great-great-grandson, Cody Pancake, three brothers, Otis, Barney, and Frank Armstrong, and three sisters, Opha McLaughlin, Vada and Nellie Armstrong, who died in infancy, preceded her in death. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Apr 11, 2005, at Shiloh United Methodist Church near Ireland with burial in the church cemetery. Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper was in charge of arrangements.
