Marion Stanforth, 64, New Vienna, died at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. He was born Jan. 4, 1909, at Martinsville, the son of Earl Stanforth and Verna Sharp Stanforth. He was married to Ruth Thompson, who survives and now resides in New Vienna, on March 13, 1943. His mother also survives. He was an auto salesman. He is survived by four sons, Leonard, New Vienna, James and Roger, both of Fostoria, and Richard, Wilmington; five daughters, Mrs Betty Moran, Wilmington, Mrs Robert (Harriett) Patterson, Wilmington, Mrs. Tony (Pam) Quigley, New Vienna, and Mrs. Brenda Blake and Mrs. Patricia Christen, both of Wilmington. Also surving are four sisters, Mrs. Howard (Ruby) Johnson, Dayton, Mrs. Carl (Bernice) Singleton, Wilmington, Mrs. Helen Reco, Waynesville, and Mrs. Vera Conner, Middletown; 22 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home in New Vienna, with Rev Ray Hampstead officiating and burial in the New Vienna IOOF Cemetery.
